Common Reasons to Replace Your Audi 3.0T Engine

Owners may choose to replace their EA837 engine due to several reasons:

1. Engine Failure

Some typical issues are:

Failure of timing chain tensioner
Oil consumption in excess
Crankcase ventilation problems

Instead of paying thousands for repair, the majority of customers opt for a complete replacement EA837 engine for sale.

2. Performance Upgrade

Certain Audi owners want a more powerful or newer version of the engine, such as substituting a worn-out CJT for a lower-mileage CTD.

3. Restoration Projects

If you’re restoring a classic Audi A6, Q5, or A7, installing a reconditioned or comprehensively tested EA837 3.0T motor is an excellent way to put the car back into action.

Things to Check Prior to Purchase

We warrant each and every EA837 motor we sell to be in excellent working condition, but it is nonetheless good to ask:

What is the engine code? (CJT, CTD, etc.)
What’s the odometer reading?
Is it included with accessories (intake, alternator, supercharger)?
Is it tested and warranted?
What is the return policy?

You’ll get clear, honest answers to all of these when you purchase from us.
