Warranty Policy

Last updated: October 7, 2026

Engine Magazine stands behind the engines and transmissions we sell. This policy explains what our warranty covers and how to make a claim.

Warranty Coverage

Unless a different warranty period is stated on the product page or your invoice, our engines and transmissions are covered by a 90-day parts warranty from the date of delivery. The warranty covers internal mechanical failure of the major components, such as the block, cylinder heads, crankshaft, pistons and internal gears.

Warranty Requirements

  • The part must be installed by a licensed mechanic or certified repair facility, and you must keep the installation receipt.
  • All fluids, filters, gaskets, seals and belts must be replaced, and the cooling system must be flushed during installation.
  • The vehicle must be properly maintained, with proper fluid levels, and used for normal driving only.

What Is Not Covered

  • Labor, towing, rental vehicles, shipping or other related costs
  • External parts and accessories such as sensors, wiring, gaskets, seals, belts and hoses
  • Damage from improper installation, overheating, lack of lubrication, accidents, racing, off-road or commercial use, or modifications
  • Parts that have been disassembled or tampered with before a warranty claim is approved

How to Make a Claim

Contact us before making any repairs. Provide your order number, a description of the problem, photos and the installation receipt. Our team may ask for a diagnostic report from your mechanic. Once the claim is approved, we will repair, replace or refund the part at our discretion.
